Co-Founder/Political Director
Project Manager
Young Americans Coalition for Unity Institute for Youth in Policy
(February 2020 - October 2021)
As one of the cofounders of the Young Americans Coalition for Unity, I worked to build this nonprofit organization up alongside my colleagues. We wanted to create an organization that was one-of-a-kind. The YACU was simultaneously a nonpartisan and a bipartisan organization. Our mission was focused on engaging youth in politics as well as promoting unity and bipartisanship in politics today. In June of 2021, we merged with the Institute for Youth in Policy (YIP), and the YACU became a project of YIP. For several months, I led the YACU Project as a Project Manager within YIP. You can learn more about the YACU here.
National Youth Director
Yang2020 Presidential Campaign
(May 2019 - February 2020)
As National Youth Director on the Yang2020 campaign, I led thousands of young people in a movement unlike any other in order to support Andrew Yang for President. Although he didn't obtain the nomination, we were able to create a wave of young people that weren't just supporters online; they were supporters in real life. I also hosted MATH Classes for volunteers to learn how to canvass and get involved on the ground in early states.
Field Director
Josh Mason for State Representative
(July 2020 - November 2020)
As the field director of the Josh Mason for State Representative campaign, I worked alongside our candidate and 20+ local volunteers and activists to make over 2,500 calls to constituents in the district. In addition, I organized safe yet effective events to get yard signs put up throughout our community. Although he didn't win, we ran an insurgent campaign that was extremely close against an incumbent of three terms.
